Abbiamo incontrato a Locarno in occasione del Locarno festival, edizione numero 71, il direttore della fotografia Hideho Urata, gli abbiamo chiesto com'è cambiato il mestiere del direttore della fotografia negli ultimi anni.

La sua risposta si può riassumere dicendo che cambiano i mezzi tecnici ma la filosofia resta la stessa.

Antoine Fuqua, produttore e regista statunitense ha presentato fuori concorso, il suo ultimo film: The Equalizer 2 al festival di Locarno 2018. Fuqua,  è nato a Pittsburgh nel 1966, ha esordito come regista di video musicali, specializzandosi poi in film d'azione, ha lavorato con Denzel Washington e Ethan Hawke in Training Day, dove Washington interpreta un inedito ruolo da "cattivo".
