Billy Gibbons - City of Guitars Locarno 2018

La leggenda vivente Billy Gibbons, fondatore e chitarrista degli ZZ Top, ha chiuso l'edizione 2018 di City of Guitars in Piazza Grande a Locarno. Ha suonato alcune delle hit degli ZZ Top, qualche cover e ha poi duettato con i chitarristi che l'hanno preceduto: Maurizio Solieri, Federico Poggipollini e Stef Burns. Gibbons ha trovato un feeling immediato anche con la resident band regalando agli spettatori una performance indimenticabile.

Living legend Billy Gibbons, founder and guitarist of ZZ Top, closed the 2018 edition of City of Guitars in Piazza Grande in Locarno. He played some of the ZZ Top hits, some covers and then duets with the guitarists who preceded him: Maurizio Solieri, Federico Poggipollini and Stef Burns. Gibbons has found an immediate feeling also with the resident band giving the spectators an unforgettable performance.

Durante City of Guitars 2018 a Locarno, tra i tanti artisti abbiamo avuto la possibilità di ascoltare Gretchen Mann, talentuosa chitarrista californiana. Gretchen, che tra le numerose collaborazioni musicali e i dischi solisti suona la chitarra nella band: Zepparella, tributo femminile ai Led Zeppelin.
Sul palco di City of Guitars ha deliziato il pubblico con diversi brani dei Led Zeppelin, dimostrando un ottimo feeling con la resident band.

Jean-Paul "Bluey" Maunick fondatore della band, tra gli inventori del genere Acid Jazz si è presentato a Locarno con il chitarrista portoghese Francisco Sales. Uno show veramente ben riuscito.
